Substation automation is an indispensable and vital component of the electric power industry, primarily consisting of automation equipment, computer hardware and software, and communication systems. When a fault occurs in a part of the power grid, the computer can serve as a medium for information exchange, promptly feeding back the fault status to the control terminal, which greatly reduces fault repair time.


2. Miniaturization


Miniaturized devices are primarily used to enable on-site environmental protection while enhancing the speed, reliability, and interference resistance of self-protection mechanisms. This achieves a "plug-and-play" maintenance management model, leading to periodic cost savings for enterprises.


3. Collaboration Between Main and Substations


Based on a more comprehensive and open platform and service-oriented communication network protocols, the system enhances the level of information exchange and interaction between main and substations. This enables system functions such as on-demand services, subscription-based push services, and request-response services, significantly improving operational and maintenance management as well as innovation and development.
