Fault 1: touch deviation

Phenomenon 1: The position touched by the finger does not coincide with the mouse arrow.

Reason 1: After installing the driver, when correcting the position, the center of the bullseye was not touched vertically.

Solution 1: Recalibrate the position.

Phenomenon 2: The touch in some areas is accurate, and the touch in some areas is biased.

Reason 2: A large amount of dust or scale has accumulated on the sound wave reflection stripes around the surface acoustic wave touch screen, which affects the transmission of the sound wave signal.

Solution 2: Clean the touch screen, pay special attention to clean the sound wave reflection stripes on the four sides of the touch screen, and disconnect the power supply of the touch screen control card when cleaning.

Fault 2: No response to touch

Phenomenon: When touching the screen, the mouse arrow does not move, and the position does not change.

Reason: There are many reasons for this phenomenon, which are explained below one by one:

① The dust or scale accumulated on the sound wave reflection stripes around the surface acoustic wave touch screen is very serious, which makes the touch screen unable to work;

② The touch screen fails;

③ The touch screen control card is faulty;

④ The touch screen signal line is faulty;

⑤ The serial port of the computer host fails;

⑥ The operating system of the computer fails;

⑦ Touch screen driver installation error.

Solve:

① Observe the signal indicator of the touch screen. Under normal circumstances, the light flashes regularly, about once every second. When the screen is touched, the signal light is always on. After the touch is stopped, the signal light resumes flashing.

② If the signal light is still on when there is no touch, first check whether the touch screen needs to be cleaned; secondly, check whether the serial port number connected to the hardware is consistent with the serial port number set by the software, and whether the serial port of the computer host is working normally.

③ Run the COMDUMP command in the driver disk. This command is a command under DOS. When running, add a space after COMDUMP and the serial port code 1 or 2, and touch the screen to see if there is data to scroll out. If there is data rolled out, the hardware connection is normal. Please check whether the software settings are correct and whether there is a conflict with other hardware devices. If no data is rolled out, the hardware is faulty, and the specific fault point is to be determined.

④ Run the SAWDUMP command in the drive disk, which is a command under DOS. When running the program, the program will ask for the type of the control card, the port number connected, and the transmission rate, and then the program will read the relevant data from the control card. Please pay attention to check the AGC value of the X axis and the AGC value of the Y axis in the lower left corner of the screen. When the value of any axis is 255, the transducer of that axis is faulty and needs to be repaired.

⑤ When the first calibration is performed after the driver is installed, pay attention to observe the details of the system error. "No control card found", "touch screen not connected", etc., check the corresponding parts according to the prompts. Such as: whether the touch screen signal line is firmly connected with the control card, whether all the keyboard access lines are connected with the host, etc.

⑥ If it still cannot be ruled out, please professional maintenance.
