IV. Working Principle of Phase Sequence Relay


The working principle of the phase sequence relay is based on the phase relationship of the three-phase voltage. Under normal circumstances, the phase difference between the three-phase voltage is fixed, that is, the phase difference between phase A, phase B, phase C are 120 degrees. When there is a phase sequence error in the three-phase voltage in the power system, the voltage relay will detect the abnormal change in voltage and pass the signal to the time relay.
