Various inverter manuals have a lot of time-related concepts and terms, now their definitions are as follows
Acceleration time: motor starting frequency from 0Hz to 50Hz acceleration time is called acceleration time, when the start of the termination frequency is less than 50HZ, the actual acceleration time will be shortened accordingly.
Deceleration time: When the motor stops, the frequency is reduced from 50Hz to 0Hz, which is called deceleration time. When the running frequency at the moment of deceleration and power failure is less than 50Hz, the actual deceleration time will be shortened accordingly.
Starting DC braking time: Before starting, the frequency converter first outputs a DC voltage to brake the motor, and the duration of the braking voltage is called the starting DC braking time. After the DC braking time, the motor starts immediately.
Stopping DC braking time: Inverter in the process of stopping, the duration of the output DC braking voltage.
Forward and reverse dead time: the frequency converter in operation, receiving the reverse operation command, from the current operation direction to switch to the opposite direction of operation in the process, the frequency converter output frequency drops to 0 after the waiting time to hold, such as Figure 1 in the T0 time period shown.
Failure trial recovery waiting time: when a fault occurs in operation, the frequency converter stops output, and after a period of waiting time, the frequency converter automatically resets the fault and continues to run, and this period is the failure trial recovery waiting time.
Inching acceleration time: the acceleration time when the inverter is running.
Inching deceleration time: deceleration time during point-to-point operation.
Acceleration time 2/Deceleration time 2: Acceleration and deceleration times for multi-speed operation as determined by the program or selected by the multi-function terminal. Acceleration time 3, deceleration time 3, etc. are similarly defined.
Instantaneous power failure restart wait time: The minimum time allowed for restarting after an instantaneous power failure. During this time, the residual voltage of the motor after power failure disappears.
Long time acceleration: Some inverters, such as Fuji G11S inverter, can automatically extend the acceleration time for acceleration process more than 60 seconds, when the function setting is valid, the acceleration time is automatically extended to 3 times of the set acceleration time, the purpose is to prevent tripping due to the overcurrent which makes the internal temperature of the inverter rise.
Integration time:PID three closed-loop control parameters in the " ". Can affect the size of the PD control effect. Integral time is large, the response to the feedback signal is slow, poor control of external disturbances; Integral time is small, the response to the feedback signal is fast, but too small will be oscillating.
Differential time: PID three closed-loop control parameters in the "D". Differential time is large, can make the oscillation faster attenuation, but too large instead of causing oscillation; differential time is small, the attenuation effect is reduced.
Plus pump delay time: in the multi-pump constant pressure water supply system, if the main pump has been started, it must be delayed for a period of time to start other main pumps to ensure the stability of the water supply system pressure, where the delay time is the pump delay time.
Reduced pump delay time: in the multi-pump constant pressure water supply system, if a main pump has been shut down, it must be delayed for a period of time to shut down other main pumps to ensure the stability of the water supply system pressure, where the delay time is the reduced pump delay time.
Dormant waiting time: in the multi-pump constant pressure water supply system, when the frequency converter output frequency to reach or less than the dormant frequency at the same time the feedback pressure is higher than the frequency converter sleep value, and continue to run for a period of time to confirm that the motor stops to enter the dormant state. Here the so-called continuous operation of the confirmation time is the dormant waiting time.
Switching gap time: the motor from frequency operation to switch to industrial frequency operation gap time is called the switching gap time.
Feedback sampling period: the frequency converter takes the time period of the sensor feedback signal. It can be set according to the system time constant
Timing changeover time: when the frequency converter is dragging more than one motor, multiple motors work in turn, which can ensure that each motor has roughly the same working time, for example, the frequency converter is dragging a total of 3 motors, and 3 motors control the same object, the timing changeover time is 24 hours. Currently the actual operation of 1 #, 2 # motor, then when running 24 hours later, 3 # motor start, and 1 # and 2 # motor in the longer running time of the motor shutdown. Obviously, this timed changeover mode is conditional on the system allowing a motor rotation rest.
Timer: the concept of timer is very straightforward, it is triggered by the external terminals in the inverter, from the receipt of the external trigger signal from the beginning of the time, the timing time to the corresponding OC terminal output a width of several hundred ms of the effective pulse signal. The so-called "OC output" is an open collector output, which has many applications in electronics. We will not go into details.
Electromagnetic switch switching delay time: refers to the motor from frequency to frequency or from frequency to frequency switching electromagnetic switch action delay time, it can prevent the dry electromagnetic switch action delay and make the output of the inverter and the power supply short circuit.
