Robotics trends in the automation industry

May 24, 2024 Leave a message

Automation or automation is the use of systems to operate machines to reduce human labor. The automation industry has changed a lot with the advent of robots. They can rule the entire industry at any time without any human intervention. In this article, we will discuss some of the robotics trends of recent years.

1.Industrial Revolution:

has begun trying to populate its factories with advanced manufacturing robots. According to research, China has only 36 robots per 10,000 manufacturing workers, Japan has 315, and South Korea has 478. However, a goal has been set to increase the ratio of robots to workers to more than 100 by 2023.

2.Learning:

Learning is an integral part of everyone's life and so are robots. Initially there was no opportunity to assign new tasks to them as they were only designed for a specific purpose. However, with time, robots have changed and they are able to learn very quickly and efficiently.

They can now even do everyday activities of ordinary people. For example, a German robot called PR2 is learning how to make pancakes and pizza with the help of written instructions from WikiHow. The European program called RoboHow is used to teach robots and have them perform special tasks. Simply command the robots.

3.Drones:

You may never know when someone is going to deliver their product via drone on any given day. Smart and autonomous drones are being tested in a variety of industries where automated surveillance and inspections can be facilitated.

Drones can save companies a lot of revenue and effort. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued drone registration regulations in late 2015 and is testing technologies that will help automate air traffic control with self-driving vehicles.

4.Personalized robots:

Robots are slowly making their way into stores where their role is to greet and meet customers.Pepper is one of these robots and it can be used in the office, at home. As the cost of sensors, actuators and computers have come down, it is possible to build speech, image recognition and even have small conversations.
