The commissioning of a frequency converter is a complex and important process which ensures that the frequency converter works properly and meets specific operational requirements. The complete commissioning process from no load to loaded usually includes the following steps:.

First, the pre-preparation

1 clear commissioning objectives.
Before starting the commissioning, first of all, to clarify the goals and requirements of the commissioning, such as the required output frequency range, voltage range and rated current.

2 Read the user manual.
Read the user manual of the inverter in detail to understand its functions, settings and operation methods.

3 Check the power supply and electrical connections.
Ensure that the power supply wiring of the inverter is correct, including the phase sequence of the input power supply, voltage stability, etc. Check the electrical connection between the inverter and the motor, including whether the grounding and wiring are correct and firm.

Second, no-load test run

1 Disconnect with motor.
Before carrying out no-load test run, disconnect the inverter from the motor to ensure that the motor is not involved in the test run.

2 Power on test run.
After power on, first carry out no-load test run. The purpose is to familiarize with the operation interface and key functions, such as forward and reverse, stop, etc., and observe whether the action and temperature rise of the inverter are normal.
Check whether the signal and control action of the external terminals are normal.

3 Function setting and debugging.
Familiarize yourself with the setting and operation method of relevant functions in combination with the physical object, such as the setting of rising and falling time.

Three, connect the motor no-load test run

1 Check the motor: Before connecting the motor, be sure to check the motor.
Before connecting the motor, make sure that all technical indexes of the motor are qualified, and make sure that the motor is not loaded.

2 Connect the motor:
Connect the motor with the inverter correctly.

3 Test run the motor: Let the inverter drive the motor to rotate, and make sure the motor is not loaded.
Let the frequency converter drive the motor to rotate, observe whether it works normally, such as whether the direction of rotation meets the requirements.

Gradually increase the given frequency, observe the rotation of the motor, and let the motor run for a period of time under different frequencies, observe the voltage and current values.

Gradually reduce the output frequency and observe whether the motor stops according to the set deceleration time.

Fourth, with load debugging operation

1Connect the load.
Connect the load to the motor, ready for debugging operation with load.

2Adjust the inverter parameters.
Adjust the inverter parameters according to the load characteristics, such as speed control, torque control, PID control and so on.
Set the motor power, current, voltage, speed, maximum frequency and other parameters, which can be obtained directly from the motor nameplate. Adjust the acceleration and deceleration time to ensure that the motor can start and stop smoothly.

3 Running Test.
Conduct tests with different loads and speeds to observe the running conditions of the inverter and motor.
Check whether there are alarms or tripping phenomena such as overload, overcurrent, overvoltage, etc., and adjust the parameters according to the actual situation.

4 Debugging protection function.
Set the parameters of overload protection, overcurrent protection, etc., to ensure that the equipment can cut off the power supply in time when there is a malfunction to protect the safety of the equipment V. Troubleshooting and Adjustment

5 Observation of abnormalities.
In the commissioning process, if you find that the motor works normally or there are faults, you should immediately stop the commissioning and inspection

6 Find out the cause of the fault.
Through observation and analysis, to find out the specific causes of the failure

7 Adjustment and repair.
According to the cause of the failure to take appropriate measures to adjust and repair. Such as adjusting parameters, replacement of damaged parts, etc.

V. Final adjustments and acceptance

Optimization of parameters
After completing all the debugging and adjustments, final adjustments are made to the inverter to optimize the parameter settings

Acceptance test
Conduct acceptance tests on the inverter and motor to ensure that they work properly and meet the requirements.

Record data
Record the data and parameter settings during the commissioning process to provide reference for future maintenance and optimization.

Through the above steps, you can complete the commissioning process from no-load to loaded inverter. It should be noted that in the commissioning process should strictly comply with the safety regulations to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. At the same time, the user manual and technical specifications of the inverter should be carefully read, and the operation and commissioning should be carried out in accordance with the requirements.
